Remember this dress from my husband's work Christmas party? I promised you I would be wearing it again for Christmas Eve. And I did. It took me no less than 6 options/outfits to finally find the look I was going for. Thankfully I have an awesome fashion friend who doesn't mind me sending her 6 pictures in a row and asking for HELP!
The striped blazer, in theory, would have been a fun mix but I wasn't feeling it. I loved the black blazer but with the dress alone, left something to be desired. Enter the skinny belt. Just enough "cinch" to showcase my waist underneath the somewhat boxy blazer. The boots were just too casual so I went my trusty Steve Madden rosette t-straps. Although with tights, they tend to look like booties.
I have to say, I think the blazer, belt and tights gives the dress a brand new look and makes it more "everyday wearable." Because we all can't be going to fancy parties all the time. Or at least I can't. Although that would be fun!

Really pretty dress and you did a fabulous job styling it. I especially like the thin belt with it. I would never have thought to add it.

This is so pretty! And I agree... Adding tights and a cardigan or blazer makes almost any dress fair game for every day. Yours looks great :)
This looks great! I have that LC blazer and literally wear it every other day.

I love the striped blazer- it looks fantastic with this dress. And the way you styled it with the belt and black blazer is fantastic too! That dress has so many possibilities!
