I LOVE this time of year. The weather, the holidays, the time spent with family and friends. But I really LOVE it for the yearly traditions. Doing the same things year after really makes this type-A, OCD girl's heart happy. It's so fun to look back on the same activities we did last year and compare how much all the kids have grown and changed. Sure, I know they are bigger and look different but I don't realize how much different until I pull up old pictures. And then come the big, fat mommy tears.
It seems like yesterday Luke was itty bitty and we were celebrating his first Halloween. Now, this year will be his 3rd! Hard to believe!
Last Friday we got all the kids in their Halloween costumes at play date. It was quite chaotic but definitely worth it.
It's hard to tell from the pictures but Luke is a "construction worker" this year. His tool belt and tools are hiding and he refused to put on his work boots. Which is funny because normally I can't get him to take them off. He also has a vest and hat but mommy forgot. Emilee is Cinderella. I found the onesie at Target and just about died - too cute!
Love these special friends and their mommies so much!
